Manual Swivel log grapple
Features and Advantages
- Heavy-Duty Construction & Long-Term Durability
Every grapple in this series is constructed using Q690D high-strength alloy steel, known for its superior toughness and resistance to wear and deformation. Precision-welded joints and a reinforced frame ensure outstanding structural integrity. This allows the grapples to perform reliably under continuous stress, heavy lifting, and rugged outdoor conditions.
- Powerful Hydraulic Performance
The LG Series operates efficiently under 15–25 MPa hydraulic pressure with a wide flow range of 15–75 L/min, offering smooth and responsive movement. The large-bore hydraulic cylinder provides exceptional clamping force, enabling secure log gripping and reducing slippage during transport. The integrated pilot-operated check valve prevents accidental opening, maintaining full load control and operator safety at all times.
- Rigid Manual Swivel System for Stability
A signature feature of this series is the manual swivel lock system, which prevents the load from swinging while in motion. This rigid design enhances precision and safety, particularly when operating in tight spaces or uneven terrain. The swivel joint — proven to never fail in field use — ensures superior stability and operator confidence.
- Compact Design, Wide Compatibility
LG1 and LG1-M models are optimized for mini skid steers and articulated loaders, providing excellent maneuverability and lightweight operation.
LG2-M features an extended frame and larger hydraulic cylinder, making it suitable for mini articulated loaders, telehandlers, and compact tractors requiring higher capacity.
All models connect easily through RS300 or RL500 adapters, allowing quick attachment and detachment for versatile field use.
- Operator Safety & Control
The design prioritizes user safety: the check valve and rigid frame minimize unexpected movement, while internal spiral-wrapped hydraulic hoses are protected from abrasion and tangling. The rear structural brace evenly distributes forces across the grapple and loader arm, reducing stress and improving handling balance.
- Optional Functional Add-Ons
To meet diverse operational needs, Rima offers:
Side-mounted capstan: a tie point for dragging brush or ropes in hard-to-reach areas.
Front-mounted tow-ball: enables movement of small trailers or trailed equipment without detaching the grapple.
These add-ons expand versatility, allowing one tool to perform multiple forestry and utility tasks.
- Efficient Maintenance & Long Service Life
The series is engineered with simplicity in mind — minimal moving parts mean fewer wear points and easier servicing. All hydraulic lines are internally routed, reducing exposure to damage. Routine maintenance is fast and straightforward, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime in professional operations.
- Wide Application Range
The LG1–LG2-M grapples are ideal for:
Forestry and logging operations – log loading, sorting, and skidding.
Landscaping and construction – clearing brush, lifting posts, or handling debris.
Agricultural use – managing tree trunks, poles, or bundled materials.
Whether for small landscaping businesses or commercial timber yards, the Manual Swivel Log Grapple series delivers performance, control, and reliability you can trust.
